Drea is specialized in Webflow, Figma, Shopify and Squarespace and is fully versed in HTML, CSS and Javascript.
Drea has been designing and developing websites since she was 12 years old! After working in engineering & finishing her grad studies in sustainability, she returned to her roots of the web to express her creativity and bring her technical knowledge together. She is passionate about helping small businesses have a huge impact in a small amount of time and fully optimizing the resources & tools available to them to be more efficient and make more money.

What does the design day workflow look like?

10AM - 12PM
In the morning we dive deep into your business strategy to identify your key clients and map out their user experience on your website. What key actions do they need to take and how can we make those crystal clear so that you make more sales? What tools do we need to install to make your website run as smoothly as possible? By the end of the morning we have your site map fully fleshed out and ready to go.

1PM - 5PM
In the afternoon I’ll build your website’s structure, install all the plugins, and take your brand guidelines to style the website and design your home page. The other pages will have a basic design & templates that you can use to finalize the site later on before launching.

THE NEXT DAY
The following day, we’ll have a wrap-up meeting where I will integrate your feedback and walk you through how to update everything. You’ll get a full training on how your new website works.

LAUNCH DAY
After the design day you’ll receive a document with a recap of all of the decisions we made, the maps we drew, and Loom videos teaching you how to use your website platform & make updates yourself. You’ll also get a pre-launch checklist. I will be on call to help you with your launch date (setting up DNS codes, connecting your domain, installing Google Analytics & Google Search Console).
What can you expect at the end of the design day?
By the end of our design day you will have:
A fully styled website on Squarespace or Shopify based on your branding guidelines
A fully designed home page
A fleshed out user experience strategy and site map
New plugins and tools installed to ease your business operations to make your website work better for you
Wireframes for each of the additional pages for you to complete before launching
On-call launch support when you’re ready to go live!

A design day is for creating a brand new website. If you want to give your current website a glow-up, try our glow up session for a full website audit instead. Otherwise, come back to the design day when you’re ready for a refresh.

Yes, but only for bigger turnkey projects in the 10k - 30k budget range. If this is something you’re into, send us a message and we can discuss!

Unfortunately no, I can’t work on an online course platform in the context of a design day. It would have to be a more fleshed out project that takes longer to execute.
If you want to use Squarespace for managing a simple online couse or digital product, I would be happy to help in a Design Day.

I prefer if you have a brand guide beforehand with a colour palette, moodboard and general design direction you like. A logo isn’t necessary.
